Job summary

Qualifications

• Accredited Nursing program required.
• ACLS certification within 6 months; American Heart Association.
• Registered Nurse Compact License (RN) - Florida.
• Graduate of cardiovascular or radiology program preferred.

Responsibilities

Summary

During the Cardiac and Vascular Interventional Suites (CVIS) procedure, provides highly technical Hemodynamic pressure and EKG monitoring as well as scrubbing procedures to the pediatric/congenital and/or adult patients in the Cath Lab.

• Experience and ability to work in Cath, EP, and IR a plus and highly preferred!
• Call in weekends

Responsibilities

Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including disposition, referral, and spiritual and, or psychosocial support needs.Evaluates learning needs of the patient and, or family and provides patient and family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.Effectively delegates patient care to ancillary personnel. May precept student nurses and new hires.Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care based on patient assessment to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources. Monitors, documents, and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
