Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL, is seeking an experienced cardiovascular technology professional to support diagnostic and interventional angiographic procedures. Candidates should have CVT or Radiography training, 2+ years cath lab exposure, and current ACLS/BLS certifications. RCIS must be obtained within six months.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology or Radiography program with cardiac experience required.
• Two years of Cath Lab or EP Lab experience is preferred.
• Candidates must demonstrate strong organizational skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
• Flexibility to work varied hours and shift lengths is required.
• Current CVT or RTR credentials are required, ACLS and BLS certifications upon hire, RCIS within six months.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing, performing, and completing diagnostic and/or interventional angiographic procedures under physician supervision.
• Work with a variety of equipment and technology including TAVR, Mitral Clip, Watchman, PFO closure, atherectomy and thrombectomy devices, IVUS, FFR, iFR, IABP, and Impella.
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to hospital policies.

Responsibilities

Assists in performing all duties associated with preparing, performing, and completing a diagnostic and/or interventional angiographic procedure under the supervision of a physician. Requires competence in a variety of equipment and technology including TAVR, Mitral Clip, Watchman, PFO closure, atherectomy devices, thrombectomy devices, IVUS, FFR, iFR, IABP, and Impella. Responsible for all aspects of patient care that are in accordance with the hospital and department policies. Practices safety guidelines for patients, colleagues, support personnel, and self. Fosters teamwork through effective communication and flexibility in job duties. 2-3 years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

Flexibility to work varied hours and shift lengths is required.

Current CVT or RTR credentials are required, along with ACLS and BLS certifications upon hire. RCIS certification must be obtained within six months of hire.

Schedule Details

Monday-Friday; 10hr shifts with hours varying between 6:45am-5:15pm, days vary. On call and late shifts as needed. Must live within 30 minutes of campus.

Weekend Schedule

Weekend/Holiday on call. Call days can cover a 24-hour period for consecutive days.
