This is a combined posting for Cardiovascular Technologist and Senior Cardiovascular Technologist. The requirements of each role are listed below under each associated title. Consideration for each role will be based on qualifications. If you have the qualifications of any one of these two positions, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with technical procedures including diagnostic and interventional cardiac/vascular procedures and open surgical procedures under physician supervision.
• Participate in daily duties to provide high-quality patient care and imaging within the Cath/IR Department.
• Obtain optimal radiographs and assist physicians in an aseptic environment.
• Monitor patients and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.
• Maintain knowledge of cardiovascular equipment and supplies, assisting with their use.
• Be available for on-call shifts as necessary.

Qualifications:

Cardiovascular Technologist

• Graduate of a two-year invasive cardiovascular program or successful completion of a formal Radiologic Technologist program.
• Washington Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Certification or Washington Radiologic Technologist upon hire.
• National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire.
• National Provider BLS and ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• 1 year of previous cath lab experience and in Interventional Radiology.

Senior Cardiovascular Technologist

• Two-year invasive cardiovascular program or successful completion of a formal Radiologic Technologist program.
• Washington Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Certification or Washington Radiologic Technologist upon hire.
• National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire.
• National Provider BLS and ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• 6 months to advance from Tier 1 to Tier 2 technologist.
• 2 years of continuous experience in a busy cath lab performing complex cases.
• Preferred: Experience in Interventional Radiology or RCIS licensure.

Salary range for Cardiovascular Technologist in Seattle, WA: Min: $54.46, Max: $82.86

Salary range for Senior Cardiovascular Technologist in Seattle, WA: Min: $57.90, Max: $88.76
