Job summary

Med Career Solutions in Panama City, FL seeks a Cardiovascular Technologist to prepare, operate lab equipment and assist physicians in cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures. This role includes hemodynamic monitoring and specialized radiography to demonstrate patency, supporting patient and family care, and assisting with patient transport within the lab.

The position is full-time with day shifts and rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• 1 year of previous Specials, Vascular, or Cardiac Cath Lab Tech experience required.
• Florida State Registered Radiologic Technician
• Associate Degree or equivalent in Radiological Technology
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT) registry, or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credential required
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification required
• ACLS must be obtained within 45 days of hire date

Responsibilities

• Prepare and operate equipment and assist physicians in diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures.
• Perform hemodynamic monitoring.
• Perform radiographic procedures of a highly specialized nature to demonstrate cardiac and vascular patency.
• Support the team in general care of the patient and family members.
• Assist in transporting patients to or from the Lab.
