Job summary

Catholic Health's Good Samaritan University Hospital on Long Island is seeking a Radiology/Cardiovascular technologist to set up patients for cardiac catheterization and monitor the patient during the procedure.

You will assist the physician during the exam and monitor patient positions, while entering data into GEMNET and MACLAB systems. A relevant program graduate with BLS/ACLS is required, and registry eligibility is acceptable.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiological, Cardiovascular and/or Respiratory care program.
  • RCVT or equivalent preferred, registry eligible acceptable.
  • BLS/AED/ACLS training required and accepted from only 2 organizations: American Heart Association - BLS/ACLS for Healthcare Providers; American Red Cross - CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer.
  • No online programs from any organization will be accepted.

Responsibilities

Salary Range

USD $49.41 - USD $64.39 /Hr.

This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
