Responsibilities
JOB SUMMARY
This job is responsible for performing special interventional diagnostic and therapeutic examinations of the heart and blood vessels under the direction of a licensed physician using radiologic imaging for guiding the procedure.
Work includes but is not limited to:
Incumbents are also accountable for keeping abreast of CHI Franciscan standards, protocols and procedures relating to the department; keeping skills current; demonstrating evidence of continuing education to include department meetings, individualized learning opportunities.
Cardiovascular Tech Non-Registered is a temporary classification for employees who have graduated from an accredited school of Cardiovascular Technology but for whom Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) is pending at the time of hire. Employees have six months from the date of hire to obtain the requisite registration.
