Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an Radiology Technologist to support outpatient Cath Lab workflows in Arkansas. You will perform diagnostic imaging, prepare patients, and assist physicians during interventional procedures.

The role emphasizes image quality, safety, and patient education with a focus on coordinating care and ensuring compliance with licensure requirements. This is a hands-on, supervised position with exposure to vascular imaging.

Qualifications

• ASRT-certified Radiology Technology program graduate.
• Licensed in Arkansas Radiology Technology.
• Preferred: Cath Lab Advanced Certification by ARRT.
• Preferred: 1+ year of experience.
• Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on first day

Responsibilities

• Work under supervision and read/interpet health record documentation to identify diagnoses and procedures affecting outpatient encounter visits
• Produce Cath Lab images for medical interpretation
• Prepare patients for procedures by reviewing medical history, draping and positioning patients, preparing procedural/testing sites, and administering contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice
• Assist physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic vascular interventional procedures
• Perform related imaging procedures
• Analyze results and resolve image quality issues
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams
• Monitor patient condition and report/respond to changes in status
• Prepare equipment and supplies
• Implement safety standards and perform equipment quality control procedures
• Troubleshoot, resolve, and/or report equipment malfunctions
• Perform other assigned duties

Job description

Requirements

• Graduate from a 2-year certificate program certified by the ASRT in Radiology Technology
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• Licensed by the State of Arkansas in Radiology Technology
• Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment
• Pre-employment screening, including criminal background, drug testing, and/or education verification
• Preferred: Baccalaureate Degree
• Preferred: One or more years of experience
• Preferred: Cath Lab Advanced Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
