Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a Cardiovascular Technician to assist in cardiac catheterization, vascular diagnostics, and interventional procedures. Responsibilities include emergency procedures like IAB and temporary pacer insertion, under the supervision of credentialed invasive cardiologists or radiologists.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Recognizing and addressing patient problems, collecting data, and participating in patient care according to standards.
  2. Prioritizing resources for patient care and diagnostics based on accurate information and staff capabilities.
  3. Demonstrating knowledge of cardiac anatomy, conditions like CAD, and treatment therapies.
  4. Performing catheterization lab procedures competently.
  5. Assisting in data collection across cardiovascular, respiratory, neurological, renal, and vascular procedures.
  6. Documenting findings and reporting abnormal results to physicians.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Graduate of an accredited CVT or RCVT program preferred, or an LPN, Respiratory Therapist, ARRT, or Paramedic with 1 year hospital experience. RCIS certification is preferred.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, interpersonal skills, and PC skills.
