Mercy San Juan Medical Center in Carmichael, California, seeks a Cardiovascular Technologist to perform interventional imaging in the cath lab, preparing patients and operating radiologic equipment under physician guidance.

You will ensure safety, accuracy, and adherence to the latest standards, joining a dynamic team focused on life-saving cardiac care.

Requirements include RCIS, ACLS, BLS, and knowledge of cardiac rhythms; radiology license preferred.

• Cardiac catheterization laboratory with demonstrated knowledge of cardiac rhythms and hemodynamics.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Cardiovascular Technologist, you will be at the forefront of cardiac care, utilizing cutting‑edge imaging technology to directly impact life‑saving diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Every day, you will expertly perform specialized interventional diagnostic and therapeutic examinations of the heart and blood vessels under physician guidance, meticulously preparing patients, operating advanced radiologic equipment, and contributing critical data for interpretation. You'll ensure the safe, efficient operation of all equipment while maintaining mastery of our latest standards and protocols.

To be successful in this role, you will combine advanced technical proficiency in cardiovascular imaging with a meticulous eye for detail, a commitment to patient safety, and a drive for continuous learning within a dynamic and collaborative Cath Lab team.

Job Requirements

Required

• Registry Certified as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).
• Cardiac catheterization laboratory with demonstrated knowledge of cardiacr hythms, and cardiac hemodynamics.
• Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support.

Preferred

• Radiology Technician with current x-ray and fluroscopy license.
