Job summary

HCA Florida Northside Hospital is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to support physicians during complex cardiac procedures. You will prepare patients, assist with angiograms and stent placements, and help maintain a safe, sterile environment essential for high-quality care.

The role emphasizes teamwork, advanced equipment operation, and patient education to ensure compassionate care across the peri-procedural journey.

Qualifications

• ACLS required within 30 days of employment start date
• BLS required within 30 days of employment start date
• ARRT-R Radiography, RT Radiologic Technologist, RRT/RCP-State Respiratory Therapist, RCIS Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, or Paramedic must be obtained within 2 years of employment start date
• Vocational School Graduate or High School Graduate / GED
• 1 year experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assisting physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements
• Preparing and supporting patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures
• Operating and maintaining advanced equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment
• Monitoring patient responses with vigilance and compassion to ensure the highest level of care
• Safeguarding a sterile, safe environment while serving as an advocate for every patient

This position requires taking call in rotation, this will include some weekend call.

What qualifications you will need:

• 1 years experience preferred
