Job Summary

Conducts Color Flow Echocardiograms Conducts Stress Echocardiograms and assists the Cardiologist in Transesophageal Echocardiograms. Conducts other Non-Invasive procedures such as EKG, EEGs.

Essential Functions

1. 1. Conducts color flow Doppler Echos following established protocols.
2. 2. Conducts Stress Echos according to established protocols.
3. 3. Assist Cardiologist in the TEE procedure.
4. 4. Submits echocardiogram at the highest quality possible well within the appropriate time span.
5. 5. Identifies and conducts Echos without delegation.
6. 6. Identifies and conduct other Non-Invasive testing without delegation. Example: EKG, Holter.
7. 9. Recognizes and reports and equipment malfunction.
8. 10. Maintains safety standards at all times and follows infection control guidelines.
9. 11. Performs neat, accurate and thorough clerical tasks which include making appointments, entering daily charges into computer and log book.
10. 12. Participates in the performance improvement program.
11. 13. Demonstrates the ability to work and communicate with all members of the hospital team.
12. 14. Conducts other Non-Invasive procedures.
13. 15. Recognizes abnormal echo findings and communicates any life threatening situation to the appropriate personnel.
14. 16. Ability to interact with neonates through the geriatric population.
15. 17. Understands and adheres to the WPH Performance Standards, Policies and Behaviors.
16. 18. Performs all other related duties as assigned.
