Job summary

Gwinnett Technical College invites applications for an instructor to coordinate clinical aspects of Cardiovascular Technology. The role reports to the Dean of Health Sciences and offers a full-time, benefited, exempt position within the Health Sciences Division.

Qualified candidates hold an Associate’s degree with RCIS/RDCS/RCS certifications and two years in the field. Teaching experience in ACCET/JRC-CVT accredited environments and strong curriculum development skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required; RCIS/RDCS/RCS certifications with two years field experience preferred.
• Prior JRC-CVT accreditation experience preferred; curriculum development experience valued.
• Experience teaching in two-year or technical colleges and using diverse teaching strategies may be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Prepare lesson plans for cardiovascular technology or echocardiography courses.
• Teach face-to-face, hybrid, and online classes; align with state/national standards.
• Evaluate student progress and maintain documentation and program certification as required.
• Assist in recruitment, retention, and job placement efforts and participate in college/community activities.
