Job summary

Mercy in Springfield, MO seeks a Cardiovascular Technician to perform electrocardiograms (EKGs), apply cardiac monitors, and support daily clinical and administrative operations. You will work closely with physicians, staff, and patients to provide high-quality cardiovascular diagnostics and clear communication of results.

The role requires a high school diploma, BLS certification, and strong English communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification required.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform and accurately record EKGs and apply monitoring devices.
• Educate patients on monitor use and care.
• Identify cardiac rhythms and monitor abnormalities.
• Maintain logs and documentation of diagnostic tracings and reports.
• Communicate results promptly with physicians and care team.
• Assist with patient scheduling and chart preparation.
