Terms and conditions apply.\*\* The Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist is a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) and/or Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) who specializes in invasive cardiologic procedures performed in either the Cardiac Cath or Electrophysiology Lab. They are required to perform on a team in the roles of a scrub tech and monitor during invasive cardiologic procedures.**Education and Certification Requirements**This position requires:Graduate of an accredited RCIS or RCES program. Requires the individual to obtain their RCIS or RCES certification within two years of their hire. ~OR~Graduate of a certificate or degree granting program or post-secondary educational program in a health science (includes, but not limited to, cardiovascular technology, ultrasound, radiologic technology, respiratory therapy, nursing, or paramedic/EMT). Requires the individual to obtain their RCIS or RCES certification within two years of their hire. For Radiologic Technology: graduate of certified JCERT radiology program. Requires the individual to obtain their RT certification by the ARRT within 90 days of hire. Requires the individual to obtain their VI, CI, RCIS, or RCES within two years of their hire date.
