Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a Cardiovascular Tech (CVT) to support cardiovascular laboratories in diagnosing and treating complex conditions. The role covers scrub and circulating duties, equipment prep, and patient care across pediatric, adult, and congenital cases.

Flexibility for varied hours and on-call shifts is required. Qualifications include health science education with patient care experience, BLS/ACLS certification, and progression toward RCIS/RCES or CI credentials within 18 months.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary diploma in health science with 3 years patient care experience.
• Associate degree in health science with 2 years patient care experience.
• Bachelor or greater degree in health science with 1 year patient care experience.
• BLS or ACLS certification required.
• RCIS/RCES within 18 months of hire or CI credentials for RT within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist in scrub and circulating roles during cardiovascular procedures.
• Prepare and maintain specialized equipment for procedures.
• Provide excellent patient care before, during, and after procedures.
• Collaborate with the care team and adhere to safety and infection control protocols.
