Endeavor Health Cardiovascular Institute seeks a Physician Assistant to join the Cardiovascular Surgery Team in Glenview, IL. This inpatient role provides perioperative care across inpatient, outpatient, and OR settings.

Responsibilities include exams, orders, treatment plans, education, and assisting in cardiac procedures. Orientation supports progression toward autonomous practice and call coverage.

Qualifications

• PA licensure in IL required; DEA and IL Controlled Substances license required.
• Completion of Master’s or Doctorate level PA/Associate program.
• BLS/CPR and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Perform histories and physical examinations; order and interpret diagnostic studies.
• Develop and implement treatment plans; prescribe pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies.
• Provide patient and family education.
• Serve as first or second assistant in cardiac surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with cardiac surgeons and multidisciplinary team; participate in quality initiatives.
• Orientation completed; progress to autonomous clinical practice and call coverage.
