Endeavor Health is hiring a Physician Assistant for the Cardiovascular Surgery team at Glenbrook Hospital, Glenview, IL. This inpatient, full-time role involves perioperative care across inpatient, outpatient, and OR settings with rotating weekend call.

Responsibilities include preop assessments, surgical assisting, and post-op education, with orientation and competency progression toward autonomous practice.

Formación

• IL PA license and DEA license required.
• BLS/CPR and ACLS certifications required.
• Cardiac surgery exposure during training or rotation preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Obtain histories and perform physical examinations; order and interpret diagnostic studies; develop and implement treatment plans; educate patients and families.
• Serve as first or second assistant in cardiac surgical procedures (CABG, valve surgery, ECMO cannulation, LVAD implantation) within competent privileges.
• Collaborate with the cardiovascular team to manage patients across inpatient, outpatient, and operating room settings.
• Participate in quality improvement, clinical practice development, and service-line initiatives.
• Upon orientation, independently participate in operative first-assist and call coverage as core responsibilities.
