Responsibilities include:

1. Assessing, planning, and implementing nursing care in the CVOR while ensuring patient comfort
2. Anticipating, identifying, and responding to informational and emotional needs of patients and families
3. Guiding and directing healthcare personnel (e.g., Patient Care Technicians) in caring for patients
4. Maintaining knowledge of equipment setup, maintenance, and use (e.g., IV pumps, monitoring equipment, drainage devices); utilizing safeguards such as IV pump drug library and monitor alarms
5. Initiating emergency support measures (e.g., cardiopulmonary resuscitation, injury prevention)
6. Assisting with patient care duties/tasks (e.g., drainage devices, ambulation, hygiene)

We offer a sign-on bonus up to $25,000 depending on shift and eligibility, along with additional pay for clinical ladder participation, referral bonuses, excellent benefits, and relocation assistance.

Qualifications include:

• Unencumbered license to practice in Arkansas
• Minimum 6 months of acute care experience (new graduates or nurses with no prior acute care experience are hired through our residency program); 1 year for PRN positions
• Previous CVOR experience preferred but not required
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association
