Overview

Location: AdventHealth West Florida Division, Tampa, FL (now with 15 hospitals)

We are seeking multiple board-certified, highly motivated, and experienced Cardiovascular Surgeons for our expanding programs in West and Central Florida. Candidates should be skilled in all aspects of cardiothoracic surgery and have an interest in research and medical education. The affiliated AdventHealth Cardiovascular Surgery group at Pepin Heart Institute includes four established cardiothoracic surgeons, along with a team of interventional, structural, non-invasive, heart failure, electrophysiology, and vascular surgery physicians.

AdventHealth Pepin Heart Institute offers comprehensive cardiovascular services and is accredited by the American College of Cardiology. It features centers for transcatheter valve therapy, cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, advanced heart failure, and more. The institute is recognized as a HeartCare Center of Distinction, with active cardiovascular research supported by the AdventHealth Research Institute.

This is an employed position with AdventHealth Medical Group, a primary care and specialty physician group known for leading technology, innovation, and compassionate care. The compensation package includes a salary guarantee with productivity incentives, occurrence-based malpractice coverage, paid leave, CME days, PDO allowance, retirement plan, health insurance, and relocation assistance. Our practice model allows physicians to focus on clinical work while benefiting from robust practice management support.
