Responsibilities

• Position Details: Cardiovascular Surgeon
• Employment: Will be employed under Shasta Regional Medical Group hospital-owned multi-specialty medical group
• Work Schedule: 3 Weeks ON / 1 Week OFF; must be available during ON to go to the hospital
• Call Schedule: 3 Weeks ON / 1 Week OFF
• Cardiothoracic procedures: TAVR, DaVinci, CABG, AVR, MVR & Triple A
• A sign-on bonus and relocation allowance provided

Shasta Regional Medical Center offers the following cardiac services: (1) WATCHMAN procedure for atrial fibrillation not caused by a heart valve problem; (2) CardioMEMS System heart failure monitoring device.

Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery Program: (1) Coronary artery bypass grafting (2) Valve repair and replacement (3) Aorta repair (4) Thoracic procedures (5) Vascular procedures (6) Off-pump (OPCAB) bypass surgery.

The exact starting compensation will be determined at the time of hire, considering factors such as skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
