Job summary

Connections Healthcare Staffing seeks a Cardiovascular Specialist / CV Technologist for a major hospital in the Raleigh area. The role supports physicians in endovascular and Hybrid procedures and requires OR experience with RCIS.

You will participate in call-back rotation, assist with fluoroscopy, and work closely with surgeons in the Hybrid OR.

Qualifications

• RCIS credential and 1 year CV OR experience required.
• Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology is required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• OR experience and ability to work in a Hybrid/OR setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in endovascular and Hybrid procedures.
• Participate in call-back rotation and weekend coverage.
• Work in the Hybrid OR alongside surgeons, using fluoroscopy to aid treatment.

Cardiovascular Specialist / CV Technologist

My client, a large hospital in the Raleigh, NC area, has the need for a Cardiovascular Specialist to join their team. Candidates MUST have OR experience and should be RCIS registered.

The Cardiovascular (CV) Specialist assists physicians in performing a variety of endovascular and Hybrid procedures to include call back rotation. The CVS performs duties as assigned by the manager supervisor or board coordinator. While in the Hybrid OR the CV Specialist will be working alongside surgeons assisting with the treatment and diagnosis of peripheral vascular disease while utilizing fluoroscopy.

Experience

• 1 Year Clinical – Cardiovascular Or Related Position Experience Required

Minimum Required Licensure/Credentials

• Associate’s Degree Radiologic Technology, ACLS, BLS with the RCIS credential + 1 Year Clinical – Cardiovascular Or Related Position Experience Required. Definitely need some OR experience.

Hours of Work

• Monday – Friday 7:00am-5:30pm 4/10hr shifts
• Call Requirements every third weekend and some weekday call
