Job summary

HCA HealthONE Sky Ridge Medical Center is seeking a Cath Lab nurse with solid to expert knowledge of all Cath Lab procedures. Communicates and works independently in performing procedures on patients from newborn to late adulthood, prioritizing quality patient care in alignment with the Center's mission and standards.

Cross-training to additional modalities may be requested. Requires Colorado RN licensure and experience in interventional radiology or cardiovascular labs; on-site position at Sky

Qualifications

• Colorado state RN licensure or multistate license.
• Current BCLS and ACLS or ALS certifications.
• Experience in critical care preferred; IR procedures and cardiovascular labs valued.

Responsibilities

• Solid to expert knowledge of Cath Lab procedures and independent execution of procedures.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, and staff to ensure quality care.

Job Summary

Responsible for solid to expert knowledge of all Cath Lab procedures. Communicates and works independently in performing all special procedures on customers ranging in age from newborn to late adulthood. Prioritizes, provides, and promotes quality patient care to support the Mission, Vision, and Values of Sky Ridge Medical Center. Maintains and supports facility technical and documentation expectations consistent with JCAHO regulations and standards. Positively reflects concern and consideration when interacting with patients, medical staff, and employees. Demonstrates independent critical thinking skills to assume accountability for personal and team contributions. Must be willing to cross‑train to one or more additional modalities such as special procedures as required.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate Registered Nurse license, or current registration as Registered Radiology Technologist (RTR), or current certification as Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), or current certification as Registered Radiologist (ARRT). Current BCLS certification, current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association or ALS certification from American Red Cross.
• Education: Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing, or accredited RTR and/or RCIS training program.
• Experience: 2 years experience in critical care nursing preferred (RN), 2 years experience in interventional radiology procedures (RTR) preferred, 2 years experience in cardiovascular lab setting preferred (RCIS), or 2 years experience as a Registered Radiographer (ARRT) preferred.
