*WORK LOCATION: *Texas Health Dallas, 8200 Walnut Hill Ln, Dallas, TX 75231

*WORK HOURS*: Full Time for 40 hrs per week. Hours of operation are Monday - Friday 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM

*DEPARTMENT HIGHLIGHTS*:

· 4 Procedure Rooms

*HERE’S WHAT YOU WILL NEED:*

*Education:*

· Associate degree in applied science *required *OR

· Completion of accredited program in radiologic or cardiovascular technology required OR

· High School Diploma or Equivalent with 2 years of work experience in invasive cardiology required.

*Experience:*

· 1-year radiologic technician experience w/out ARRT required or

· No experience w/ ARRT

*Licenses and Certifications:*

· ARRT – American Registry of Radiologic Technologist upon hire *required *or

· RCIS – Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist upon required or

· RCES – Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist upon hire or

· CMRT – Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist if ARRT upon hire and

· BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required and

· ACLS—Advanced Cardiac Life Support—within 90 days required

*SKILLS:*

· Imaging Quality and Processing:

· Explains procedures to patient or guardian / family member if applicable prior to exam.

· Performs complex procedures including age related criteria and developmental considerations.

· Assists radiologist with complex and invasive procedures using aseptic technique.

· Correctly sends and transfers images to PACS.
