Job summary

Tutor Me Education in Peoria, AZ seeks a Cardiovascular Sonography tutor to work 1:1 with a high-achieving adult student enrolled in a Cardiac Sonography program. The tutor will translate complex clinical concepts, teach ultrasound techniques, and build hand dexterity for machine operation.

The role requires adapting to neurodiverse needs (Autism, SLD, Anxiety) and coordinating with a supportive family to ensure progress toward weekly exams and final certification.

Qualifications

• Experience in Cardiovascular Sonographer/Technologist Test Prep OR background/experience with the AHF Cardiac & Vascular Ultrasound Program

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 instruction and test prep for Cardiovascular Sonography curriculum for weekly exams and final certifications
• Target instruction around medical terminology, anatomy, ultrasound techniques, and machine operation
• Coach the student on spatial awareness and hand dexterity for probe and ultrasound equipment
• Adapt lessons to support neurodiverse learning needs (Autism, SLD, Anxiety)
• Use structured, encouraging teaching strategies and collaborate with the family to ensure progress
