Qualifications

• Associates Degree required in related field; Cardiovascular Sonography preferred.
• 4 years professional experience as adult cardiac sonographer.
• Direct and specialized knowledge in the area of instruction.
• 4 years clinical experience; teaching in a clinical setting preferred.
• ARDMS RDCS with Adult Echocardiography (AE) or CCI Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS).
• Expertise in delivering instruction and engaging learners.

Responsibilities

• Organize and deliver class objectives clearly.
• Foster a safe learning environment in classrooms and labs.
• Maintain training aids, tools, and equipment.
• Keep curriculum current with industry standards.
• Evaluate student performance with assignments and exams.
• Provide constructive feedback to support student success.
• Identify at-risk students and create success plans.
• Build rapport with students, clinical partners, and colleagues.
• Provide periodic reporting to stakeholders.
• Meet with students and education personnel on instructional topics.
• Ensure regular interaction with online course components.
• Maintain accurate attendance, grades, and progress records.
• Deliver engaging lectures and lab sessions on topics, diagnostics, and equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
