Forsyth Technical Comunity Clg is seeking a part-time Cardiovascular Sonography Clinical Instructor to provide clinical instruction to undergraduate students at the Main Campus. The role includes teaching assignments, grade administration, and class preparation under department leadership.

Required ARDMS or CCI registration, at least one year post-graduate experience, and experience in an adult ECHO department or outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI registration in Cardiac Sonography is required.
• At least one year of post graduate work experience.
• Experience working in an adult ECHO ultrasound department or outpatient facility.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate students as designated by the department chairperson and approved by the dean.
• Maintain all required college records including attendance and grade reports.
• Compile bibliographies of specialized materials or outside reading assignments.

Job Description Summary

The Part-time Cardiovascular Sonography Imaging Clinical Instructor will provide clinical instruction to undergraduate students.

Required:

• Active ARDMS or CCI registration in Cardiac Sonography.


• One (1) year of post graduate work.


• Experience working in an adult ECHO ultrasound department or outpatient facility.

Preferred:

• AAS Degree or higher in Cardiovascular Sonography or Adult Echocardiography diploma & B.S. Degree. Note: Degrees and hours must be from a college accredited by a United States Department of Education accepted accrediting agency such as SACSCOC .


• Previous experience instructing students in a clinical setting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assume responsibility for teaching assignments as designated by the department chairperson and approved by the dean.


• Assume responsibility for maintaining all required College records including attendance and grade reports, roll books, etc.


• Compile bibliographies of specialized materials or outside reading assignments as applicable.


• Make recommendations to Department Chair for supplies, equipment, and equipment repairs.


• Construct, administer, and grade examinations.


• Assume responsibility for being familiar with and adhering to all policies of the college.
