Job Overview
This role involves performing echocardiograms and vascular studies in various clinical settings across different locations, contributing to patient diagnosis and care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) including 3D/4D imaging.
- Performing stress echocardiograms (SE) and dobutamine stress echocardiograms (DSE).
- Executing peripheral vascular studies, encompassing arterial and venous duplex imaging of upper and lower extremities.
- Performing carotid duplex studies.
- Operating and maintaining ultrasound equipment.
- Ensuring accurate and timely documentation of procedures and findings.
- Collaborating with medical professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Adhering to professional standards and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Current ARDMS (RDCS) and/or CCI (RCS) credentials required.
- Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Demonstrated proficiency in performing a wide range of cardiovascular ultrasound procedures.
- Strong understanding of cardiac and vascular anatomy and physiology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to new environments and work effectively in diverse teams.
- Flexibility to travel and work in various healthcare facilities.
