Job Overview

This role involves performing echocardiograms and vascular studies in various clinical settings across different locations, contributing to patient diagnosis and care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) including 3D/4D imaging.
  • Performing stress echocardiograms (SE) and dobutamine stress echocardiograms (DSE).
  • Executing peripheral vascular studies, encompassing arterial and venous duplex imaging of upper and lower extremities.
  • Performing carotid duplex studies.
  • Operating and maintaining ultrasound equipment.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely documentation of procedures and findings.
  • Collaborating with medical professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Adhering to professional standards and safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Current ARDMS (RDCS) and/or CCI (RCS) credentials required.
  • Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in performing a wide range of cardiovascular ultrasound procedures.
  • Strong understanding of cardiac and vascular anatomy and physiology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to new environments and work effectively in diverse teams.
  • Flexibility to travel and work in various healthcare facilities.
