Job summary

Mercy Hospital St. Louis is seeking a Cardiovascular Sonographer to perform advanced ultrasound imaging for cardiovascular diagnosis and monitoring. The role requires technical proficiency, patient care, and clear communication with patients and the care team to deliver accurate diagnostic images.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of Sonography with required clinical hours or on-the-job training under a Preceptor registered in Cardiac ultrasound.
• No prior experience required.
• State licensure may be required depending on the state of practice.
• ARDMS RVT or CCI RVT and ARDMS RDCS or CCI RCS or registry eligible (must obtain registry within 6 months of eligibility); Basic Life Support (BLS)

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced ultrasound imaging procedures for cardiovascular assessment.
• Provide high-quality diagnostic images and ensure patient comfort.
• Collaborate with cardiology and healthcare teams to support patient care.
