Job summary

UNC Health Care is looking for a Radiologic Technologist in Smithfield, NC, to employ radiologic science technology for patient care with a focus on cardiovascular disease. This position offers ultrasound imaging, patient preparation, and post-procedure care as primary tasks.

The ideal candidate will hold an Associate's degree in Sonography and meet the certification requirements. Full-time work includes a $15,000 incentive for commitment over three years.

Qualifications

• Ability to deliver pre-procedure and post-procedure patient care.
• Demonstrated competence in ultrasound technology.
• Capacity for troubleshooting equipment problems.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-procedure patient care.
• Calibrate and maintain ultrasound equipment.
• Generate ultrasound images of heart and vascular structures.
• Monitor and record patient information.
• Prepare procedure room and equipment for usage.
