Job summary

Tufts Medicine's MelroseWakefield Cardiovascular Center is seeking a RN II to provide professional and individualized nursing care in accordance with physician orders at the MelroseWakefield facility in Massachusetts. This role supports cross-training across Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology and Stress Lab, and requires Massachusetts RN licensure and active BLS.

The position emphasizes independent nursing care, patient assessment, care planning, and collaboration with the healthcare

Qualifications

• Massachusetts RN Licensure.
• 12 Months - Less than 3 Years of RN Experience.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Department Specific: Certification(s) relevant to the department and the type of patient care being provided may be required.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participates in performance improvement initiatives.
• Integrates evidence-based practice into clinical care.
• Conducts and documents accurate clinical assessments.
• Develops, implements and evaluates patient care plans.
• Uses nursing judgment to tailor care plans to patient needs.
• Manages patient assignments and delegates tasks as appropriate.
• Develops educational plans for patients and families.
• Supports patient/family rights and informed decisions.
• Continuously revises care plans as patient health changes.
