Job summary

Lovelace Health System in Albuquerque, NM is hiring a day shift, full-time Electrophysiology HOPD RN to join our cardiovascular team. You will provide professional nursing care, support staff, and contribute to patient safety in a high‑performing environment.

The role requires a NM nursing license (or NM compact), Associate’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing, and BLS; ACLS/PALS may be required. BSN preferred, with 2 years in a specialty and 2 years general nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Diploma of Nursing.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (preferred).
• BLS certification required within 14 days of hire.
• DEPARTMENT MAY ALSO REQUIRE ACLS and or PALS.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for the practice of Professional Nursing, to include patient care and staff management assigned to the RN in his/her charge.
• May serve in the role of Charge Nurse and is accountable for professional practice.
• Adheres to policies and procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
