Norman Regional is seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist to join our cardiovascular program in Norman, OK. The role involves equipment preparation, patient assessment, sterile technique, and precepting new staff within a busy Cath Lab and related rooms.

Candidate should have a 24-month Radiologic Technology program and ARRT eligibility/RCIS, with BLS and ACLS training planned within 6 months. This is a regular full-time, day shift position with evening, night, and weekend call expectations

Qualifications

• Completion of 24 month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligible and/or current RCIS
• Previous Procedural Area experience preferred
• Above requirements can be met by the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Compensation / Benefits

• $32.56-$53.18/hr based on previous work experience.
• Evening differential $2.50/hr.
• Night differential $3.00/hr.
• Weekend differential $3.00/hr.

We have an innovative cardiovascular program and we are looking for caring knowledgeable Cardiovascular Technologist to add to our team. We have 16 Cath Lab Same Day Surgery rooms and five Cardiac Cath Lab procedure rooms and two treatment rooms. We work with 10 Cardiologist and seven of which are interventionist and one electrophysiologist.

Experience

• Previous Procedural Area experience preferred

Licensure/Certification/Registration/ETC.

• American Registry of Radiologic Technology
• Registered and/or RCIS
• Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI) certification preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained thru re-training for duration of employment
• ACLS training must be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained through duration of employment
• Complete Cath Lab RT Orientation within 6 months
• Complete all competencies listed in department policy within 6 months

Schedule: 7a-7p / 3 12 hr shifts/week. 1 night call/week. 1 weekend call every 3-4 weeks
