Research Medical Center in Overland Park, KS, is seeking a Cardiovascular Services RN to provide direct patient care in the CV Prep & Recovery unit. You will prepare and recover patients, administer medications, and support complex cardiovascular procedures with sedation as needed.

You will collaborate with physicians, monitor patients during tests, manage equipment, and participate in CQI activities to ensure top-quality care. RN licensure and required certifications are expected.

Formación

• ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date (RN).
• Licensed Registered Nurse with Diploma, Associate or Bachelor's degree.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct patient care to the adult population.
• Prepare patients for and recover them after CV lab procedures.
• Administer medications and document procedures performed.
• Administer conscious sedation for transesophageal echo procedures.
• Monitor patients during cardiac stress tests, tilt table tests and cardioversions.
• Communicate with physicians and family about patient condition as needed.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and inventory.
• Participate in CQI and performance improvement activities.
