Job summary

Mercy is seeking a part-time Cardiovascular Pre Post RN to provide compassionate, evidence-based care to patients before and after cardiovascular procedures. The RN will perform comprehensive assessments, monitor vital signs and telemetry, administer medications and IV therapies, and support safe recoveries.

Responsibilities include pre-procedure teaching, post-procedure observation, pain and symptom management, and coordination of multidisciplinary care.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Missouri.
• Experience caring for cardiovascular patients preferred.
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive pre/post procedure assessments.
• Monitor vital signs and telemetry during recovery.
• Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered.
• Provide pre-procedure teaching and post-procedure instruction.
• Document care in the EHR and communicate with the multidisciplinary team.
• Support discharge planning and infection-control practices.
