Job summary

Mercy seeks a part-time Day Heart and Vascular RN to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to cardiac and vascular patients. The RN will perform comprehensive assessments, administer medications, monitor telemetry, support pre- and post-procedural care, and educate patients and families on disease management.

Working collaboratively with cardiologists, surgeons, and allied staff, this role promotes safety, accurate documentation, and seamless care transitions.

Qualifications

• Active US RN license.
• Part-time availability for variable shifts.
• Experience in cardiac or vascular care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments and monitor telemetry.
• Administer medications per physician orders.
• Support pre- and post-procedural care and patient education.
• Educate patients and families on disease management and discharge plans.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, surgeons and allied staff to ensure safe, coordinated care.
