Job summary

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent degree in a relevant science field.
• Strong hands-on laboratory experience and data analysis skills.
• Proven ability to design, execute, and interpret experiments.
• Experience presenting findings at scientific venues is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage projects.

Responsibilities

• Designs experiments, develops protocols, and conducts research under faculty mentorship.
• Assists in training and supervising technical staff and carries out routine techniques.
• Records and analyzes data; helps generate hypotheses for further study.
• Prepares scientific papers for publication and presents findings locally and nationally.
• Collaborates with other research efforts at NCH and The Ohio State University.
• Builds towards independent research and assists in seeking external funding.
