Job summary

Wellstar Kennestone Hospital is seeking an experienced RN Outpatient Cardiovascular Nurse to join an interdisciplinary team. You will ensure high-quality, patient-centered care in a Cardiac Diagnostics and Cardiac Rehab setting, under Nurse Managers and Wellstar governance.

Responsibilities include direct patient assessments, telemetry monitoring, IV therapy, and collaboration with cardiologists and wellness programs. Requires active nursing licensure in Georgia and ACLS/BLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Requires nursing licensure as per Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required prior to or upon hire.
• All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.

Responsibilities

• Direct assessments, evaluation, and monitoring for cardiac stress testing and rehabilitation.
• Maintain safe patient environment and obtain informed consent.
• Perform IV insertions and IV medication delivery.
