Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiovascular OR at Glenbrook Hospital. The role is full-time with a 6:30am to 3:00pm schedule, Monday through Friday, including rotating call, weekends and holidays.

The nurse provides perioperative care across pediatric to geriatric populations, ensuring patient safety and collaboration with the surgical team. Qualifications include RN licensure in Illinois, CPR/BLS certification, and 2+ years in perioperative care (BSN preferred).

Qualifications

• Graduate of a state approved school of nursing required.
• IL RN license with CPR/BLS from American Heart Association.
• 2 yrs RN experience in perioperative care preferred.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative patient care for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients before, during, and after procedures.
• Act as patient advocate and ensure safety by identifying potential hazards and coordinating with the surgical team.
• Orient new staff and participate in educational programs; support supplies and equipment management.
