Job summary

Health Care Administrators Association® (HCAA) is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality perioperative care in cardiovascular operating rooms in the United States, Kansas region. The role focuses on circulating and scrubbing for complex cardiac and vascular procedures, with close collaboration among surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff.

The nurse will ensure strict adherence to safety, infection-control, and sterile technique, while assessing and planning patient care

Qualifications

• Licensed RN with perioperative experience and cardiovascular skills.
• KS RN licensure or eligibility required.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and infection control.

Responsibilities

• Circulate and scrub during complex cardiac and vascular procedures.
• Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and techs to ensure safe, efficient care.
• Maintain strict safety, infection-control, and sterile technique standards.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care perioperatively.

Registered Nurse (Surgery/CVOR)

provides high-quality perioperative nursing care in cardiovascular operating rooms.

• Circulate and scrub during complex cardiac and vascular procedures
• Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs to support safe, efficient care
• Ensure strict compliance with safety, infection-control, and sterile technique requirements
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care throughout the perioperative period
• Interpret hemodynamic data to support clinical decision-making
• Manage and use specialized CVOR equipment effectively and safely

Qualifications/Skills:

Registered Nurse with strong clinical judgment, perioperative expertise, teamwork and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain high safety and infection-control standards.
