Job summary

Hospital in Panama City, Florida, is seeking a full-time Cardiovascular Technologist to support cardiac and vascular diagnostics and interventional procedures in a high-acuity lab. The role requires a Florida radiologic license and ARRT or CVIS credentials, with BLS and ACLS within 45 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology is required.
• Minimum of one year of experience in Specials, Vascular, or Cardiac Cath Lab is required.
• Current Florida State Registered Radiologic Technician license is required.
• ARRT (R) certification or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credential is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification required within 45 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for cardiac and vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Operate imaging equipment in the cardiac and vascular lab.
• Assist physicians during invasive cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures.
• Perform hemodynamic monitoring throughout cases.
• Ensure accurate imaging to assess cardiac and vascular patency.
• Support patient transport and coordination within the lab.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families.
• Maintain workflow efficiency and adhere to safety and clinical protocols.
