Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist to assist physicians in invasive cardiac, peripheral diagnostics and therapeutic procedures, including pacemaker placement. You will support equipment setup, hemodynamic data analysis, radiation safety and on-call duties in a busy cath lab.

Qualifications include a degree from an accredited program, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited cardiovascular technologist program or radiologic technologist program.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and organizes equipment and sterile trays for each procedure.
• Assists procedure room team with patient monitoring setup.
• Calibrates and tests transducers for accurate readings.
• Assists physicians in diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Manages hemodynamic data and analyzes recordings.
• Operates and maintains CVIS-related equipment and safety protocols.
• Participates in catheterization lab on-call responsibilities.
• Adheres to radiation safety standards and inventory control.
