BJC HealthCare's Christian Hospital in St. Louis is seeking a Cardiovascular-Invasive Tech for the night shift to support complex cardiac procedures. You will assist physicians at the surgical table, handle equipment, operate X-ray devices, and support catheterization labs.

Ideal candidates have RCIS, BLS, and relevant medical knowledge; Radiology Tech or Surgical Tech backgrounds are considered transferable. Requires HS diploma or GED and 2–5 years of experience.

Cardiovascular-Invasive Tech | Full-Time | Christian Hospital

Join our cardiovascular team and play an important role in procedures that can lead to incredible patient outcomes.

• Assist physicians at the surgical table, handle equipment, operate X-ray equipment, and assist with cardiac catheterizations
• Monday-Thursday, 9:00 p.m.-7:30 a.m.
• RCIS, BLS, and medical-field knowledge recommended
• Radiology Tech or Surgical Tech experience offers transferable skills

Northwest HealthCare, six miles west of Christian, offers 24- hour emergency care, the Sleep Disorders Center and a variety of outpatient diagnostic and imaging services.

The Cardiac Catheterization Lab provides services to all in-house patients or outpatients, patients directly from the Emergency Room, or patients transferred from other health care facilities, excluding pediatric patients. Basic physical, emotional and educational assessment of patients undergoing cardiac catheterization. Analgesia and moderate sedation needs are assessed prior, during and post procedure by the nurse. Assistance to physicians performing diagnostic and interventional procedures; pharmacologic and hemodynamic support of patients before, during and after all invasive procedures. Post-procedural assessment, stabilization and transfer to appropriate medical/surgical service.
