Job summary

AdventHealth in Riverview, FL is seeking a part-time cardiovascular/interventional team member to support cardiovascular procedures, ensure equipment readiness, and maintain sterile technique.

The role requires an associated degree (bachelor’s preferred) and licensure such as RN or radiography, CPR/BLS, ACLS preferred. Competitive pay with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ECG interpretation and arrhythmia interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and operates equipment for cardiovascular procedures and ensures proper setup and sterilization.
• Produces accurate medical records based on intervention scope and patient conditions.
• Trains and supervises new personnel with orientation and education.
• Contributes to quality and performance improvement activities.
• Ensures adherence to regulatory standards and safety procedures.

Job Description:

• Part Time position
• Maintains and operates equipment and supplies for cardiovascular procedures, ensuring proper setup and sterilization.
• Produces accurate and timely medical records for each patient based on the scope and complexity of the intervention procedure and patient clinical conditions.
• Trains and supervises new personnel, providing orientation and ongoing education.
• Participates in quality and performance improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes.
• Ensures adherence to regulatory standards and enforces safety regulations.

• Ability to monitor patient blood pressure, ECG, and Pulse Oximetry using sophisticated clinical equipment [Required]

• Preparing and positioning patients and selecting anatomic and technical parameters accurately [Required]
• Preparing and administering contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable regulations [Required]
• Observing patient during procedure and reporting abnormal activity. Monitoring protocols and recommending updates or refinements as warranted [Required]
• Following radiation safety procedures and guidelines [Required]
• Able to perform all specialized imaging procedures such as angio, complex vascular and nonvascular interventional and therapeutic procedures [Required]
• Ensuring all activities comply with regulatory agency standards [Required]
• Knowledge of electrophysiology diagnostic procedures [Preferred]
• Knowledge of interventional radiology procedures [Preferred]
• Knowledge of peripheral diagnostic procedures [Preferred]
• Knowledge of peripheral intervention procedures [Preferred]
• Knowledge of interventional cardiology procedures [Preferred]
• Basic EKG interpretation [Preferred]
