Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is seeking qualified professionals to perform cardiovascular procedures, including coronary and interventional work. Strong ECG interpretation, vascular anatomy knowledge, and hemodynamic monitoring are essential, with emphasis on clear communication with patients and staff.

Eligible candidates include RN or RT/ARRT or RCIS/RCES, with BLS and ACLS; Associate degree required, Bachelor's preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ECG training and arrhythmia interpretation.
• Knowledge of cardiovascular and vascular anatomy.
• Proficient hemodynamic monitoring and patient assessment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families and staff.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; RN or RT/ARRT or RCIS or RCES or CVIT eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures including coronary and interventional work.
• Responds to clinical emergencies and operates within scope of practice.
• Administers and evaluates treatments and medications per policy.
• Verifies orders, coordinates with physicians, and ensures equipment sterility.
• Maintains and prepares equipment for cardiovascular procedures.

Job Description

Up to $15,000 Sign-on Bonus and $3,000 Relocation Assistance available to eligible candidates (see terms below)

Sign-on Eligibility

• One (1) year of applicable experience
• Internal Candidates and Rehires with less than 12 months of separation date are not eligible

Relocation Eligibility

• Must live 50 miles outside of campus address

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures, including coronary, electrophysiology, interventional radiology, and peripheral interventions.
• Responds appropriately in clinical emergencies and performs within the scope of practice for the position.
• Administers and evaluates effectiveness of treatments and medications according to policy and training.
• Verifies orders, facilitates implementation, and communicates with physicians as needed.
• Maintains and operates equipment and supplies for cardiovascular procedures, ensuring proper setup and sterilization.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Knowledge of ECG training and arrhythmia interpretation [Required]

Work Experience

• One plus years relevant healthcare experience [Required]
• Two plus years experience in cardiac cath/ ep /neurosciences/ critical care, or interventional radiology [Preferred]

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Required] AND
• Registered Nurse (RN) [Required] OR
• Registered Technologist - Radiography (R.T.(R)(ARRT)) [Required] OR

• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) [Required] OR

Pay Range
