CARDIOVASCULAR INTERVENTIONAL RADIOLOGY TECHNOLOGIST - HEART CATHERIZATION LAB

Join us as a Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology Technologist at Hoag Health System.

Position Details

Salary Range: $47.72 - $73.37 per hour. Compensation varies based on location, experience, skill, and education.

• Level 1 Tech: Min: $43.27, Midpoint: $54.91, Max: $66.53
• Level 2 Tech: Min: $45.41, Midpoint: $57.63, Max: $69.85
• Level 3 Tech: Min: $47.72, Midpoint: $60.55, Max: $73.37

Sign-on bonuses are available for all levels.

Schedule & Work Environment

Positions available: Full-time, Part-time, Per Diem. Hours per pay period: 80 (Full-time), 30 (Part-time), 10-20 (Per Diem). On-call with 30-minute response time; on-call pay provided.

Our Heart & Vascular Institute features eight state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization labs across Newport Beach and Irvine, offering advanced cardiovascular diagnostics and treatments.

Responsibilities

• Utilize departmental resources efficiently.
• Perform hemodynamic and physiological measurements, rhythm recognition, and operate specialized modalities.
• Assist in advanced interventional procedures, including stent placements, electrophysiology, and device implants.
• Maintain inventory and adhere to hospital policies.

Qualifications

Level 1

• Associate degree or higher, ARRT-approved Radiologic Technology program graduate, standby/on-call with 30-minute response.

Level 2

• Same as Level 1, plus 2 years of cardiovascular radiology experience, preferred cardiac/endovascular/electrophysiology experience.

Level 3

• Same as Level 2, with experience in hemodynamic monitoring, laser procedures, and hybrid OR procedures.

Licenses & Certifications

• California CRT License and Fluoroscopy License.
• AHA BLS Certification, ARRT Radiology certification required; post-primary CV Interventional certification preferred.
