Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is seeking a cardiovascular professional to join our team. You will perform diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures and coordinate with physicians, nurses and staff to ensure safe, effective patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Requires strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, ECG interpretation, and hemodynamic monitoring. Competitive pay, sign-on bonus up to $15,000 and relocation assistance are available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ECG training and arrhythmia interpretation
• Knowledge of Cardiovascular anatomy
• Knowledge of vascular anatomy
• Knowledge of Hemodynamic Monitoring
• Ability to communicate appropriately and effectively with patients and their family, hospital staff, nurses, physicians, and other health care professionals

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures, including coronary, electrophysiology, interventional radiology, and peripheral interventions.
• Responds appropriately in clinical emergencies and performs within the scope of practice for the position.
• Administers and evaluates effectiveness of treatments and medications according to policy and training.
• Verifies orders, facilitates implementation, and communicates with physicians as needed.
• Maintains and operates equipment and supplies for cardiovascular procedures, ensuring proper setup and sterilization.

Job Description

Up to $15,000 Sign-on Bonus and $3,000 Relocation Assistance available to eligible candidates (see terms below)

Sign-on Eligibility

• One (1) year of applicable experience

• Two plus years experience in cardiac cath/ ep /neurosciences/ critical care, or interventional radiology [Preferred]

Licenses And Certifications

• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required] AND
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Required] AND
• Registered Nurse (RN) [Required] OR
• Registered Technologist - Radiography (R.T.(R)(ARRT)) [Required] OR
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) [Required] OR
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) [Required] OR
• Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) [Required] OR
• Cardiovascular Interventional Tech Cert (CVIT) [Required] OR
• Licensed Paramedic (PARA) [Required] OR
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
