Qualifications

Job Description

At NorthBay Health, the Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiologic Technologist II (CIRT) is registered by the California Radiologic Association and holds a California fluoroscopy permit. The CIRT is responsible for diagnostic, routine, and complex interventional procedures including cardiac angiography, cardiac implants, vascular, peripheral vascular, non-vascular, interventional, trauma procedures, and OR radiographs. The technologist works under the direction of the physician of record and reports to clinical coordinators and the Director of Cardiology. They are tasked with delivering safe, effective, and high-quality care tailored to patients’ physiologic, developmental, and psychosocial needs, aligning with NorthBay Health's mission and values.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited two-year school of x-ray technology.
Licensure/Certification
  • Current CA CRT, ARRT, and CA Fluoroscopy permit required.
  • Current AHA or AHA equivalent BLS required.
  • ACLS preferred.
  • RCIS preferred.
Experience
  • Completion of NorthBay Healthcare Primary Coronary Intervention Training Program or a minimum of 1 year recent experience in PCI in a Cardiac Cath Lab, performing at least 50 cases per month.
  • Experience with CPACS, peripheral vascular intervention, interventional radiology, and trauma preferred.
Skills
  • Demonstrates competence in clinical specialty.
  • Ability to work efficiently in complex situations.
  • Independent, reliable, with excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Compensation

$62.70 - $72.55 based on years of experience.

Night Differential: $8.75/hour

Evening Differential: $5.80/hour
