Job summary

Mercyhealth in Rockford, IL, is seeking an experienced professional to maintain expertise across CVI specialties while partnering with leadership to recruit, develop, and evaluate staff. The role supports staffing plans and budgeting while focusing on patient satisfaction, safety and service excellence.

Schedule is 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, day shift with on-call rotation. The position requires graduation from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology and 3–4 years of progressively

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• 3–4 years of progressively responsible hospital procedural technologist experience.
• ARRT Radiography registration.
• IEMA-DNS Radiography accreditation required if working in Illinois.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS and PALS within specified months.

Responsibilities

• Maintains competence in all CVI specialties.
• Support staffing plans including recruitment, retention, orientation/training, education and scheduling.
• Partner with leadership to ensure staff knowledge, skills and behaviors align with unit goals.
• Achieve patient satisfaction targets (Press Ganey and HCAHPS) and drive service excellence.
• Support process improvement in operations, quality and organizational change.
• Participate in hospital and department meetings and committees.
• Mentor staff and colleagues; lead by example with professional accountability.
