Job summary

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• BLS/CPR must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Registered Nurse license required (RN).
• RN diploma, ADN, or BSN degree required.

Responsibilities

• Performs procedures and monitoring as ordered by the physician and documents care in the medical record.
• Educates patients and families about condition, treatment plan, medications, side effects, and follow-up measures.
• Counsels on non-medicinal follow-up measures such as lifestyle changes and prevention.
• Maintains evidence-based practices and participates in quality improvement initiatives.
• Coordinates and delivers holistic patient care with the care team to support recovery.
