Methodist Dallas Medical Center in Dallas, TX is seeking a Patient Care Technician to assist with patient care under the direction of professional staff, providing support to patients, the nursing unit and clinicians. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 1 year experience as nursing assistant in a comparable healthcare facility or
• Graduate from a certified nursing assistant program OR
• Certified Medical Assistant program OR
• Nursing student who documents completion of the first semester of a Nursing Program OR
• Documented military experience as a medic/corpsman OR
• Foreign Nursing graduate not currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the U.S OR
• EMT Certification/Paramedic License

Responsabilités

• Assist with patient care under the direction of the professional staff to provide support to the patient, nursing unit and professional staff.
• Support daily patient care activities, ensuring comfort, safety and timely communication of changes in patient condition.

Formation

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Nursing assistant experience (1 year)

Graduate from CNA program

Certified Medical Assistant program

Nursing student, first semester

Military medic/corpsman experience

Foreign nursing graduate not licensed in U.S.

EMT Certification/Paramedic License
